1. Finalize Your Guest List

Start by finalizing your guest list. This step not only helps for planning but also for getting an accurate count for your caterer and helping with your seating arrangements. Keep in mind that about 10% of invitees usually decline. If your original guest count is 150 , you might want to expect around 135 . At this timne you can send out your Rehearsal Dinner Invitations. Getting information about dietary restrictions for your guests is also important This consideration allows caterers to accommodate everyone.

2. Confirm Vendors

Next, confirm all your vendors to ensure everyone is on the same page. The vendors typically include caterers, photographers, florists, and entertainment. A checklist for each vendor can keep all details organized, including the services they'll provide and their contact information. Send detailed shot list to photographer and videographer. Decide on what photos are most important to you. Do you want getting ready photos in the bridal suite, Are you considering a First Look, but the biggest part of the list is the family photos because they can take alot of time and organizing. Besure to add names because your photographer is not going to know everyone in the line up. The more organized you are with the family photos the faster you can start your party and start focusing on you and your partner .

3. Schedule Final Dress Fittings

Schedule your final dress fitting to ensure it fits perfectly. Bring along any accessories you'll wear, such as your veil, shoes, and jewelry. Practice walking and sitting in your dress during the fitting. Gaining confidence and know you look amazing will help alleviate stress later.

The Day of wedding time line is so important. The more detailed the timeline the smoother the day is going to go. It is essential! Make sure to share your timeline with your vendors, photographers, wedding party and so they know the specific times the different events will happen. Including a timeline for your guests is also a way to include them. There are many ways to do this at Antler Ridge Weddings we have seen a framed poster board with time of ceremony, cocktail hour and what drinks are available , dinner, first dance, etc displayed on an easel . One bride made a had her timeline on a fan that each guest was given on arrival. So be creative and have some fun!

.

5. Start the Seating Chart

Seating charts can be challenging. Start by grouping individuals based on relationships and comfort levels. There are online seating chart tools that can help simplify the process. Having just the right seating chart will contribute to a more enjoyable reception for everyone so make sure you put some thought into this sometime complex project.
